A Georgia social worker who works at a psychiatric hospital claims her colorful shirt made her clients angry. AK, who runs the TikTok channel @vibinnwithak, explains that she “doesn’t know why [her] shirt [expletive] off so many people.” However, people are having the time of their lives in the comments, with the video getting over 231,000 views, over 47,000 likes, and over 1,000 comments.
In the video, you can see she’s wearing a bright, colorful, and floral button-up shirt. This vibrant attire apparently was not well received throughout the day. One client was angry about not being discharged, so he “told me I looked like a [expletive] flower bed.” He then told AK to get out of his face and go back outside. She says, “Then another client told me that I could take me and my shoulder pads out of his [expletive] face.”
AK then states the hate for her shirt continued when she met with her favorite client and his interpreter. First, when she greeted him, he just looked at her. Then, he sat down for a second in the interview room. He looked at the interpreter and then at AK. She explains, “He looked at me, he shook his head, he stood up, and he did this, and he walked out.” She mimics him waving at her before walking out of the room. However, it doesn’t stop there. AK says, “Then one of the clients told me, I think I’m so cute; she ought to knock my ponytail off my head.” Another client complimented the shirt and everything about her. This was an attempt to get discharged in a couple of days.
People Love Georgia Social Worker’s Shirt
AK’s shirt situation has people laughing in the comments, and several reassure her that they love her outfit. However, this hasn’t stopped them from pointing out, “Sista, they ate you up today.” One commenter says, “I mean that shirt is busy af! They weren’t in the mood for it today!” Another comment reads, “Girl, you was in there looking like a pocket full of sunshine. It’s too much going on fn for all that.”
Meanwhile, several agree that her shirt was too happy for her line of work. One says, “Your shirt was too positive.” However, some see her client’s points, such as one who says, “ngl I’d be [expletive] if I’m tryna get out the psych ward & you waltz in with that happy [expletive] shirt on.” Another has a warning: “I wouldn’t wear that one again ðŸ˜. This time was a verbal warning; they gon’ put hands and feet on you next ðŸ˜.”
AK often posts videos of her life as a social worker and her mini adventures around Atlanta, Georgia.
