While there are many summons in Final Fantasy Resonance, one of the most unique in terms of how to get it is none other than Titan. Several other summons just require you to find them and challenge them to a fight, yet this iconic creature has a few extra steps. Instead of just fighting him, which you’ll definetely do, you’ll have to release him first, and to do that you’ll have to make your way through one of the game’s side activities.

The first thing you need to know is where you’ll find Titan, which is the Esper’s Dwelling west of Grandshelt, in the desert region. You may have noticed it already, as there’s a huge boulder there, and Rain says he’ll keep the location in mind for the future.

After finding said boulder, there isn’t a lot to do. However, once you progress through the main story, you can return to Grandshelt and head to the Colosseum, which is where your journey to unlock Titan will begin.

You need to complete the first branch, which will reward you with the Gaia Hammer right at the end. If you look at its description, it will say that it can break boulders. Now, all you need to do is return to where Tiran’s dwelling is and interact with the boulder.

After a quick scene with Lid and Rain, the former will break the boulder, allowing you to fight Titan instantly. We recommend saving beforehand, as this fight is quite challenging, just like other summons fights.

As for Titan’s weakness, attack him with Wind spells and attacks. That will break its stagger bar faster, allowing you to deal a lot of damage. Also, we recommend using Multi-Cover on Rain every turn, healing him up with Fina, and having your other two characters focus on damaging Titan.

After the battle, you’ll be able to unlock Titan during every fight, and he’ll do Stone damage to an enemy, which is quite handy, especially against human foes.
