It won’t be long before we see a glimpse of what lies in store for the ole’ webhead in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Because if recent reports are true – and there’s a great reason to believe they are – the first trailer for the film will soon be available to the public. This’ll make it the first post-Avengers: Endgame MCU trailer we will see.

Anyway, according to a report from the website SuperBroMovies, the first public trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home will release on Tuesday, January 15th. CBR has also contacted sources, confirming the date. Exciting stuff indeed! Hopefully, we’ll see our first glimpse of Jake Gyllenhall’s Mysterio as well as more of Tom Holland’s Spidey antics.

Spider-Man

One trailer has already been released, albeit exclusively for Brazil Comic-Con last December. But while only a handful of people got to see it, descriptions of the trailer began popping up online. These descriptions allege that Mysterio isn’t the villain here – rather, he is the co-protagonist helping Spidey defeat a group of creatures known as The Elementals.

Also, the reason for Peter going to Venice is due to Spider-Man’s fame. His fame, therefore, allows him the chance at a European school trip – hence the title Spider-Man: Far From Home. However, it’s in Venice that Nick Fury recruits Peter for a mission and assumedly, this is where the main plot kicks off.

Peter’s classmates will tag along for the trip including Ned, Flash Thompson, and Michelle. Predictably, a romance will occur between her and Peter. Perhaps less predictably, a romance ensues between Aunt May and Happy Hogan. Wow, what happened to the old, frail Aunt May we used to know and love?

But of course, this description belongs to the Brazil Comic-Con trailer. No word yet as to whether the trailer the public receives will be the exact same or be tweaked slightly. Regardless, this is one we’ll want to watch out for.
