Larian Studios is working on a new game set in their world of Divinity: Original Sin 2. The tactical RPG Divinity: Fallen Heroes puts players in command of a group of Godwoken adventurers known as the Apocalypse Squad aboard The Lady Vengeance.

The announcement came in a trailer released on the studio’s website and social media pages. Fallen Heroes will include more than 60 missions with unique monsters, story choices, and dynamic actions that will change what happens in the adventure.

More information on the upcoming game can be found on Larian’s website:

“Delve deeper than ever-before into the rich, fantasy world of Rivellon. With the fate of the races in your hands, it’s up to you to lead the Lizards, Elves, Dwarves, Undead, Demons and Humans. Recruit hero and veteran units and dispatch squads armed with both magic and steel. Each decision will have to be carefully weighed as your leadership will be tested and your choices judged.”

While there isn’t a release date for Fallen Heroes as of yet, we do know a little about what to expect from the RPG.

One of the newest features added to the game will be the inclusion of guns and rifles. Plus more interactive objects like oil, fire, water, ice, poison and a brand new element called Sulfurium.

You’ll be able to play the Fallen Heroes by yourself or team up with friends in a co-op mode. It isn’t clear if the game takes place before the events of Original Sin 2 or after at this point. Larian is still focusing on the game released in 2017 and has promised to release new additions throughout the year.

Fallen Heroes is being co-produced by Larian and Logic Artist. In the meantime, the team is looking for feedback from fans on what they are looking for in the game.
