Lupita Nyong’o will star in the Paramount spinoff horror film A Quiet Place: Day One. It’s based on the 2018 film written by John Krasinski, Scott Beck, and Bryan Woods; Krasinski directed it. John Krasinski directed the sequel to the first A Quiet Place: Part 2. The first film made $340.9 million and the second made $297.3 million. Pig director Michael Sarnoski will direct the Paramount spinoff horror film. The storyline of A Quiet Place: Day One has been kept a secret as well as who Nyong’o will play. The film is based on an original idea from Krasinski. Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller under Platinum Dunes will produce it. Krasinski will produce it under Sunday Night alongside his partner Allyson Seeger who will be an executive producer. There will also be a third A Quiet Place film for 2025.
