BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America is gearing up for the next horror-thriller in The Dark Pictures Anthology series. Before a gameplay trailer premieres on Thursday, May 27, the publisher unveiled a creepy teaser presenting the House of Ashes.
It’s 2003, and beneath the Arabian desert lies an unstoppable evil that has been awakened. Due to the intense firefighting on the surface between Iraqi forces and a military unit, the earth trembles. With a new situation at hand, the unit finds itself trapped in an ancient Sumerian temple. They must find a way out – if they can manage to withstand the unknown terrors that await them in the shadows.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes Teaser Trailer
Backed with intense and anxiety-driven music, the teaser trailer provides a glimpse into the sinister atmosphere of House of Ashes. We get to see some impressive visuals that are coupled with perspectives from both the soldier of the unit and the creature. To demonstrate the sheer mystery of the evil, the trailer barely shows off any of its ominous glory. Of course, the judging is up to the viewer, but the teaser issues a promising glance into a frightening experience.
The teaser trailer builds anticipation for the upcoming gameplay trailer for House of Ashes. This will display a more in-depth look into the horrific atmosphere that developer Supermassive Games have created. The official release time for the gameplay trailer will be at 9:00 am PT on Thursday, May 27 (tomorrow).
