The World of Warcraft leveling experience has seen a lot of changes in the lifespan of the game. Back in Classic WoW, leveling was really, really hard. You had to be either good with your class or have a group of friends to help you through the zones. Then, with Wrath of the Lich King, leveling got a bit easier. Mainly due to class changes and balance. However, the next expansions made it all easier. To the point that in Shadowlands, the 120-level cap was reduced to 60. In that expansion, the World of Warcraft Threads of Fate system came to life. However, due to feedback, Activision-Blizzard is removing it once and for all.
