For many people, one dirty dish or stray bug in their kitchen is enough to halt the cooking process; that’s why one Los Angeles girl’s roach-ridden kitchen has creeped people out, with many calling for her to move out. Apparently, the girl, who lives in Los Angeles, California, has neglectful parents, which somewhat explains the state of her house and kitchen. Here’s the video (graphic warning):
In the video, posted by TikTok user pomnii24 aka “alyssa,” you can see a zoom in on her house’s kitchen sink, with many cockroaches and bugs of different life cycles scurrying out of the way as she prepares to make dinner. According to the video’s captions, Alyssa’s parents won’t clean the house, and this has made her living conditions deplorable.
Alyssa’s food didn’t look any healthier, as they’re processed Gerber packs and microwave rice. Additionally, alyssa can’t seem to use the kitchen’s utensils and plates since they’ve become home to cockroaches. That isn’t to say alyssa doesn’t clean up, she actually does. “i clean everyday and i feed my animals everyday, but when it comes to me itโs really hard,” she claims in one of her comments, and here’s one of her cleaning videos with a voiceover.
She mentioned many times in her videos that she does clean, but the roach infestation is so bad that they just keep coming back mere minutes after she cleaned up.
People Can’t Believe the State of Her House
Alyssa’s whole TikTok account seems dedicated to featuring her infested house, along with tragic stories about her and her pets preparing to be homeless soon. Alyssa has since set up a GoFundMe to ask for donations from her TikTok followers. It appears the kitchen is also not the only place that went viral in Alyssa’s house for being poorly kept and infested with roaches. Here’s a clip of other rooms in her parents’ house.
With that said, many people are asking why she doesn’t call Child Protection Services (CPS) to get rescued from her parents instead of making a GoFundMe or Cash App. alyssa has stated in one of the comments that “Unfortunately this is my parents house ): thatโs y iโm trying to leave! ๐”, which is presumably what she’s using the GoFundMe donations for.
However, some people have pointed out suspicious details about alyssa’s stories, with others wondering why her Cash App account has a male name or why some of her posts say that the father has passed away.
“Anyone else find it odd how itโs supposed to be a girl yet the cash app says a male nameโฆthey then say โParent(s) donโt helpโ but a few posts before they said that the father had passed and finally how all these posts contain the SAME clips repeatedly as if itโs recorded by someone looking at one of those hoarding houses? Iโm not at all doubting that sad chance that this may be real busy something ainโt sit rightโฆ” suspects Rye_Ryder
“I thought this was Ai omg๐ญ,” according to ๐ธ๐พ๐ช
Alyssa has allegedly explained that the Cash App was her brother’s account, and she’s trying to leave the house with her brother. Of course, people were concerned about Alyssa’s living conditions, with many even offering their own house for her to live in. In contrast, others wished her success and continued to donate to her online fundraiser.
“oh poor baby you need to get out of there,” worries ๐งโโ๏ธ
