Adventure in Aellion is looking to bring back multiplayer fantasy adventure into the mainstream. Much like Link on his journey through Hyrule, players will be able to explore a polygonal world filled with wonder. While The Legend of Zelda only allowed for one player, Aellion will give players the option of inviting others.
The Game Production Company, developers of the title, have relied a great deal on user feedback. Through the use of their official Discord channel, the team has been able to determine was users will find most enjoyable. Because of the feedback received, developers felt the need to push back the game’s release a few more weeks.
A Word from the Lead Developer
The director of Game Production Company had this to say on the current state of Adventure in Aellion:
“Even though we’re early in development, we still want our community to have a polished product whenever we put out an update.”
Originally, the team had plans to release the game on July 22nd, 2020. That date has now been pushed back to August 26th, 2020. The game will launch as a Steam Early Access title.
Features of Adventure in Aellion
In this fantasy RPG, friends will be able to drop in or out of a game. You and up to four friends can adventure through the world of Aellion. In addition, players can look forward to things like:
- Open-world- dungeons, towns, and campsites to explore. Travel through the world as fast or as slow as you like
- Utilize multiple tools and abilities to unlock the next stage of the game
- Choose from a variety of wild horses as mounts; with each horse being unique, choosing your ride is an important step
