Road rage incidents are becoming more and more intense these days. In the case of one woman from Fort Worth, Texas, and her group of friends, they caused one heck of a crash after chasing a victim and running them off the road. The woman then proudly uploaded the footage on Facebook as her friends cheered her for causing a crash that seemingly resulted in quite a bit of collateral damage.
The video was originally uploaded to Facebook/Meta by user Pretty*ss Cortt or just Cortt, and apparently, one of her or one of her friends captured the road rage footage, which took place around August 28. Cortt and her friends were supposedly chasing a white sedan for an unknown reason– perhaps an earlier altercation, as you can see on the smashed windshield. The driver then slammed the white sedan’s rear, causing it to crash into some parked cars and possibly wreck a wall or sidewalk.
You can also hear one of Cortt’s friends or Cortt herself cheering while the other one is telling her to stop the car and the reckless driving. Sadly, the original video appears to have been taken down on Cortt’s Facebook account, but she later posted a screenshot of the crashed white sedan, seemingly to reminisce or perhaps brag about the incident. Comments on the photo were quick to remind Cortt of the repercussions:
“Yeah she donโt gaf actually”
“Girl your going to jail omg ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ”
“clout is hell of a drug๐ฎโ๐จ”
Later, after the video was uploaded, Facebook user Cortt posted that she “Went to jail came home went to jail came home went back again” and also laid out her feelings on her social media account, “Sometimes I feel itโs me against the world ๐คฃ.”
People Online Didn’t Care About the Reason for the Road Rage
Viewers of the video were quick to preserve it and then reuploaded it to other social media in case the original got taken down (and it did). People online were quick to condemn the driver’s actions because it was indeed reckless and could’ve easily resulted in more damage or harm to bystanders.
“Well she’s crazy. But she’s gonna get her rent paid by the state pretty soon.”
“The real gross thing is all the comments on her post supporting her.”
It’s possible that the driver of the crashed white sedan was responsible for the damage to Cortt’s windshield, but many viewers agreed that chasing someone and playing bumper cars with them using actual cars on a public road is irresponsible. Other people noted that the driver should’ve just listened to her friend in the car, who kept telling her to stop.
“Sounds like there’s at least one voice of reason in that car. Hope he makes new friends/ family”
