Alabama Barker is the youngest child of musician Travis Barker and his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler. She has been exposed to fame from a young age, even starring on the reality TV show Meet the Barkers in 2005 (the same year she was born). There has always been an interest in Alabama’s life, and now that she is 18 (she became a legal adult on Dec. 24. 2023), she has been posing for more risque content.
Alabama is no stranger to criticism and hate, and we have commented before on how fans have reacted to the content she shares. But let’s get one thing straight: she knows how to create a stir, and her recent Instagram post has done that. The teen posted several photos on Instagram for her 2 million followers; this time, she transformed into an X-Men character: Mystique.

The shapeshifter is recognizable by her blue skin, yellow eyes, and red hair, all of which Alabama decided to adopt for her photos. In the last picture, she also poses with her tongue out and appears to be wearing no top. She teased fans with her caption, writing, “What’s the matter baby? You don’t think I look pretty like this.” To say that many fans agree with her statement is an accurate assessment.
Comments on the post include: “i love when rich people use their money creatively like this,” “Oh this is different, I love,” and “Oh this is everythinggg.”
There have also been comparisons to Jennifer Lawrence, who famously played the character in the X-Men movies. Even Alabama’s mama has reacted to the post, and she’s all for it (and she also appeared to take credit for the work). “Oh epic Bama,” Moakler wrote. “Absolutely awesome. I did such a great job. Best costume of the year for Halloween for sure. I love you.”
As for what Travis thought? “You’re so cool,” he commented.
