Toxic work environments, regardless of industry, are exactly why people have great jobs. In Alabama, a gynecologist’s office allegedly refused to give one of its employees a day off so she could attend a court date. When the court date came and went, an FTA was filed for her arrest, and when she was actually arrested, the gynecologist’s office fired her. Now, she’s getting her revenge.
The above video was posted to the TikTok account @amberhesterxo, also known as Amber, and is the first of three parts concerning the events mentioned above. This first video is really a doozy and features several women at the front desk of the Lee Obstetrics & Gynecology office in Auburn, Alabama, according to the location featured on the video. Shortly after the video starts, the woman recording makes a shocking announcement to everyone in the waiting lobby.
Amber claims that she was fired the day before because she missed her court date. The woman who had explicitly informed her that she couldn’t attend the court date went to the office administrators and allegedly reported this situation. To really add salt to the wound, the woman recording even made an additional comment about how the front desk team lead has been messaging patients on Facebook.
The comments immediately filled up with replies condemning the woman who denied the time off, with many people advising that Amber hire a lawyer. One comment in particular said, “So let me get this straight… She DENIED you the time off FOR the court date and THEN turned you in for missing said court date??? This is done with malicious intent, clearly premeditated, and very lawsuit worthy. File. Immediately.” Another top comment bluntly said, “Sounds like a lawyer would love this case.”
The other parts of the video continue to focus on the same front desk team lead and the accusations previously made about her, which are unrelated to Amber’s arrest. However, the internet was very eager to eat the entire situation up. One comment about this said, “SHE DID NOT STUTTERRRRRR. NOT ONE WORD!!“
In response to a comment concerning evidence about not being able to take the court date off, Amber explained that she would post them shortly. However, TikTok removed the video, and it has since not been reposted. Hopefully, Amber is able to move forward with her life and can leave the worst behind her. There are surely many brighter days ahead.
