A mother in Alabama was left stunned and outraged after learning that her Walmart delivery driver allegedly stole her toddler’s brand-new cowboy boots right off her front porch, all while she was inside her home. The incident was captured on her security camera and has now made its way to TikTok, where many viewers expressed disbelief that someone trusted to deliver groceries would take something that belonged to a child.
According to the video the mom uploaded, everything seemed normal at first when the driver arrived to drop off her grocery order. The woman walked up to the porch with her arms full and carefully placed each item on the floor. She then stepped back a few feet, just enough to take the mandatory delivery photo to confirm that the groceries had been delivered properly.
But right after taking that picture, the driver didn’t leave immediately. Instead, she walked back onto the porch, moved past the bags she had just set down, and headed toward the spot where the family had left the toddler’s cowboy boots. Without hesitating, she bent down, picked up the boots, and walked back toward her car. Within minutes, she was gone, leaving the customer’s home and driving away as though nothing unusual had happened.
The Mom Says Walmart Gave Her No Real Help at First
The woman explained in the comments under her post that she had tried every avenue she could think of to get help. She said she first contacted her local Walmart, but the store didn’t help and failed to advise her on what to do, only telling her they would “file a complaint with Spark,” the third-party company Walmart uses for delivery drivers.
She then reached out to Spark directly, but they told her they couldn’t take action unless Walmart initiated it. Still without answers, she contacted Walmart’s customer care team and only then did she hear that the driver would “supposedly” be let go and that her grocery order would be refunded. While she eventually received a refund from Walmart’s customer service, she emphasized that her local Walmart “did absolutely NOTHING” and “could care less” about what happened to her.
