A woman living in Alaska had to seek refuge in her car, an activity she has unfortunately done more than once. The reason? Her roommate, who is also her landlord, got mad at her for using the bathroom before him. Tragically, this is just one of the many things that this man has done in the past that make him deserve the label: “roommate from hell.”
The nightmare story was shared by TikTok user itsivonnedeaux1 (Ivonne). She started recording from her car alongside her dog after her roommate/landlord got mad because she used the bathroom. Apparently, it is an unforgivable sin to do so before he does.
“I woke up to use the bathroom like most human beings do when they wake up,” Ivonne said. “I come up, and he’s already standing in front of the door with his arms crossed and his face like he has sucked on a lemon.”
Ivonne believes that the man’s anger stems from her using the bathroom when he needed to use it. Apparently, this is a recurring issue, as Ivonne shared (potentially overshared) that she has suffered two bladder infections while sharing the apartment with the man in question.
“I’m scared he might need to use the bathroom when I need to use the bathroom,” she explained. “He always seems to need to use it when I’m in there.”
Red Flag Behavior, Reactions
As mentioned above, this isn’t the only weird and annoying behavior the Alaska landlord has displayed in the past. Apparently, he also gets extremely irritated at Ivonne when she watches a TV show on her own laptop.
“I’m sitting there watching, having my tea, and I hear him through my headphones, ‘I don’t know why you watch that stupid hillbilly [expletive],'” Ivonne continued.
This constant spread of negativity has driven Ivonne over the edge multiple times. But that’s not all. The man is also accused of being filthy with kitchen utensils and constantly spitting viscous and disgusting phlegm in the trash can.
Many in the comments were disgusted by the man’s alleged actions, telling Ivonne to move out of her Alaska apartment.
One user wrote, “Girl, it is time to go. Get out of that negative energy and find your space. Self-love, girl, self-love.” Another one said, “Time to leave that situation.” A third one added, “God, I hope you leave as soon as possible.”
Apparently, Ivonne is planning to move out soon and into her own apartment. She probably will have to do that soon. Otherwise, her roommate/landlord will drive her mad, permanently.
