Electronic Arts has announced that the winner of the UFC 194 main event, featuring UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo and interim champion Conor McGregor, will join “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey on the cover of EA Sports UFC 2. As it stands, the official cover art is to be revealed immediately after the fight.
“Aldo and McGregor are two of the biggest stars in the world,” said UFC President Dana White via press release. “It’s fitting that next Saturday night the winner not only becomes the undisputed UFC featherweight champion, but also the second global cover athlete of EA Sports UFC 2.”

EA Sports UFC 2 is scheduled for a spring 2016 release and is reported to include a new physics system as well as greatly improved character likenesses and animation. The game will be available on
“Fight for the Cover is another way we are bringing an authentic and exciting experience to the fans,” said EA Sports Marketing V.P. Jamie McKinlay. He goes on to state that, “This is a huge moment in UFC and EA Sports history and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”
