Pokemon Go‘s Spreading Cheer Event is the game’s April 2023 Community Day event. The event will be held on April 15, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Togetic will be the featured Pokemon for this event, and also you might get a chance to catch Shiny Togetic during these three hours.
| Aura Sphere Charged Attack | If you can evolve Togetic into Togekiss during or within five hours after the event ends, you will get a Togekiss with Aura Sphere Charged Attack. The Aura Sphere has 100 power for Trainer Battles and 90 for Gym and Raids. |
| Special Research Story | You can participate in the Special Research Story by buying the event ticket for $1 or equivalent in the local currency. Also, you can purchase gift tickets for any of your friends. However, tickets are not refundable. |
| Four Star Battle | After the community day, you can still participate in a particular Four Star Battle for five hours, ending at 10.00 p.m. Local time. If you win the Raid, more Togetic will appear for 30 minutes around the Gym. However, it would be best to use Premium Battle, and Raid passes, but Remote Raid passes are not allowed. |
| Timed Research | Timed research will include tasks to capture Pokemon, and you will receive up to 5 Sinnoh Stones. |
| Field Research | You can catch Togetic and earn rewards such as Star Dusts, Ultra Balls, and others. |
| Event Themed Stickers | You can collect Event Themed Stickers by opening Gifts, Spinning PokéStops, and even you can buy them from the shop. |
The rewards for the Pokemon Go Spreading Cheer Event are as follows.
- 2x Candy for catching Pokemon
- 2x chance to get XL Candies for trainers above level 31 for catching Pokemon.
- One additional Trade can be made ( maximum two per day)
- Chance to hatch Togepi within event hours from 2 km Eggs.
- When eggs are placed in the incubator, it will be 1/4 hatch distance.
- Trade is 50% cheaper during the event and five hours after.

- Altra Balls
