By now, you are already used to listening to the sound cue, which indicates that a collectible in Gears of War: E-Day is nearby. Yet, if you thought everything would be as easy as Act 1, that’s not the case. As soon as you start the next act, you’ll notice that the map opens up, requiring you to explore a semi-open world for these items. Since it can be a bit challenging, here’s a guide to all Act 2 collectibles in Gears of War: E-Day. Here is a video gudie if you’d like something to watch instead.
Act 2 – Chapter 1 (5 Collectibles)
The first part of Act 2 in Gears of War: E-Day is extremely linear, which means hunting for collectibles won’t be too challenging. For this part, there are only five of them.

After getting your armor, turn left and look for the body behind the bus.
Sniper Goggles

Bridge Worker’s Lunch Kit

Medic’s First Aid Kit

After the final fight at the bridge, go to the back and look for the body.
Act 2 – Chapter 2 (27 Collectibles)
The number is correct. There are 27 collectibles in Gears of War: E-Day, and all of that’s because of the open-world-ish nature of this area.

These might be the easiest collectibles in the entire campaign, as you’ll get both of them after one cutscene.
COG Tags of Private Sal Harkniss

You can grab them after the cutscene.
COG Tags of Private Siv Strickland

Same as above.
Act 2 – Chapter 5 (1 Collectible)
We’re skipping Chapter 4, as it is a scripted scene of sorts, and moving straight to Chapter 5 of Act 2 in Gears of War: E-Day, which only has one collectible.
Point Fairlight Hangar Data Pad

Inside the hangar to the left, before starting the next part of the mission.
As you can see, the collectibles in Act 2 of Gears of War: E-Day are harder to obtain because of the map’s size. Fortunately, you’ll have your sound cues, and every collectible, at least in Chapter 2, will be marked on your map, making the finding process much easier.
