If you plan on turning your Serenitea Pot into a home away from home for most of the Fontaine cast in Genshin Impact, no material will be more vital than Ash Wood, which is used to make all of the wooden furniture part of all of the indoor Fontaine sets. But unfortunately, the logs can’t be found all around like some of the game’s more common building materials. Here’s where you can find Ash Wood in Genshin Impact, as well as all the ways to get it.

How to Get and Where to Find Ash Wood in Genshin Impact
You can get Ash Wood in the wild on Genshin Impact by chopping Ash Trees. The trees can be found exclusively in the Fontaine region. More specifically, you can find them by heading to two select areas located in the Beryl and Erinnyes Forest sub-regions, whose exact locations you can check out in the sections below.
You can find a total of 66 Ash Trees in Genshin Impact. Each of them can drop up to three Ash Wood logs after being hit a few times. After you get the materials from a tree they will not fall. Instead, they will simply stop dropping the logs.
All Beryl Ash Tree Locations
When in the Beryl sub-region, you can find all of its 26 Ash Trees surrounding the lake highlighted in the image below, which is, in turn, located south of the Elynas Statue of the Seven. If you have yet to complete its puzzle, the lake will be smoldering hot.
All Erinnyes Forest Ash Tree Locations
Once at Erinnyes Forest, you will be able to find a total of 40 Ash Trees by heading to the path highlighted in the image below, located directly below Weeping Willow of the Lake and east of Foggy Forest Path. The path can be easily identifiable by a few Fatui camps surrounding it.
Best Way to Farm Ash Wood in Genshin Impact
To farm Ash Wood efficiently in Genshin Impact, just head to the areas above in order and get all of the materials within them before waiting for the game’s environmental three-day refreshing period. Once the refresh happens, simply repeat the process.
How to Craft Ash Wood
You can craft Ash Wood in Genshin Impact by using your Teapot’s wood conversion mechanic. You can access the Convert Wood tab by simply talking to Tubby, heading to Create Furniture, and then heading to the log icon at the further right.
The Convert feature allows you to convert different types of ores to get 50 Ash Wood logs per week. Of the available conversion options, I recommend using only Iron and Silver Chunks, as they are fairly common. If you are like me and cannot find much use for them in the late game, the Crystal Chunks will become my main pick, as their conversion rate is 1×1.
You can play Genshin Impact on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and mobile devices.
