We might not have a new subclass, but there’s a plethora of abilities coming to Destiny 2: Renegades that will vastly change how each Guardian’s playstyle feels. As you know, and similar to previous expansions, these abilities are only usable in the Lawless Frontier, and since you’ll be spending most of your time here, it is important to know how to use them. Below is a list of every skill you will be able to use in the expansion.

All Lawless Frontier Abilities in Destiny 2: Renegades

The Lawless Frontier brings a set of skills for Destiny 2: Renegades, and each one sort of caters to different builds as you roam this new destination. Since you might want to plan your build around them, here’s how every ability will work:

  • Falcon
    • Calls in a Flacon attack vehicle that provides both mobility and offensive support in the field
  • Imperium Behemoth
    • Calls in a pilotable Imperium Behemoth war machine at the beacon’s location
  • Imperium Drop Pod
    • Calls down a modified Imperium drop pod that slams into the ground, damaging combatants on impact. The pod also contains weapon ammo.
  • Piker Mortar
    • Calls in a Piker Mortar that launches homing missiles at targets in the area.
  • Recon Shank
    • Calls in a reconnaissance shank that can reveal the location of hostiles, high-value targets, and objects of interest.
  • Revitalize
    • Calls in a utility shank that heals and provides ability energy for allied Guardians.
  • Strafing Run
    • Call down an airstrike from your ship that damages and scorches hostels and objects in the target area.
  • Vex Deflector
    • Calls in a defensive Vex Defector dome that absorbs and reflects incoming fire. Targets who pass through the dome are damaged and jolted. Allies who enter the dome are amplified.
  • Vex Stun Field
    • Creates a Vex-derived field that blinds and damages targets.

From what we’ve seen already, some of these skills will also have extra effects at level 4. For instance, the Vex Stun Field will get an extra ability charge and also increase its damage. It might be a good idea to start planning your loadout before landing on the Lawless Frontier. Some skills might benefit solo players more, while those doing everything as a fireteam might want to assign some skills to specific members to fill the gaps.
