One of the best things about Fortnite is also the main reason why it has so many players is its reward system. Epic Games every now and then added new quests, challenges, and items like the Scanner to create opportunities to give better stuff to the players alongside paid items like the Khaby Lame bundle. The recent quest added to Fortnite is the Survivor Medals which gives players a beautiful Llama Back Bling. So here is how to complete the survivor medals quest in Fortnite to get that shiny Llama Back Bling.

What Are Survivor Medals in Fortnite?

Generally, players have to do two things to get survivor medals. The first one is to outlive a certain number of players, and the second is to have a certain number of eliminating other players. As you progress, the challenge will become harder. The good thing is that you can complete this challenge in both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.

Each time you complete the challenge, the number of eliminating players will increase, and the number of players you must outlive will decrease. You can check your progress by going to the Quests menu and selecting the Survivor Medals quest from the left column. In there, you will see how many challenges you’ve completed, what’s the next challenge, and how many left to complete the quest.

Once you complete the first series of challenges which is the Common Survival Medal, you will get the Common Llama Back Bling. The starting challenge is to outlive 50 other players and have at least 1 elimination. Once you’ve completed all challenges of the Common Tier, you will unlock the Uncommon Tier which has ten more challenges and completing them will reward you with the Uncommon Back Bling. You can find the list of Survival Medals rarities in the order below:

  • Common
  • Uncommon
  • Rare
  • Epic
  • Legendary
  • Exotic
  • Mythic

After completing each tier, the next one will be unlocked with its set of challenges to be completed. That is everything you should know about Survival Medals in Fortnite. Make sure to check our website for more Fortnite articles.

Fortnite is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
