Horde Rush mode has been added to Fortnite Battle Royale with the Fortnitemares 2023 Updates. Horde Rush mode is a limited-time mode, and you can kill Vampires in this mode. Think of it like CoD Zombies, but instead of zombies, you fight wave after wave of Vampires. There are also many special weapons exclusive to the mode such as the Wood Stake Shotgun, Throne’s Vampiric Blade, Pumpkin Launcher, Witch Broom, and Sanguine Sweets. If you are wondering if Horde Rush gives XP, the answer is of course it does. In fact, it gives more than just XP, here are Fortnitemares 2023 Horde Rush rewards and quests.
All Fortnitemares 2023 Quests
Fortnitemares missions don’t unlock all at once, they unlock progressively like other previous events. In Horde Rush and Fortnitemares 2023, you can earn XP as well as cool cosmetic items. These items include Bat Royale Back Bling, Cat Banner Icon, Sweer! Emote, Phantasmic Fall Contrail, and Revenant Rider Glider, all of which are special items you can’t always get.
Blood Moon Rising
Blood Moon Rising quests were released on October 10, 2023.
- Gain full shields within 30 seconds of taking damage from opponents (1) – 15,000 XP
- Hit enemy players from 30 or more meters (13) – 15,000 XP
- Search a Ghost Buried Chest or Rare Chest (1) – 15,000 XP
- Sprint distance within 15 seconds of ringing doorbells (25) – 15,000 XP
- Travel distance with a Witch Broom (500) – 15,000 XP
- Visit Eclipsed Estate or Relentless Retreat (1) – 15,000 XP
- Stage 1 of 5 – Earn XP in Creator Made Experiences (30,000) – 5,000 XP
- Stage 2 of 5 – Earn XP in Creator Made Experiences (60,000) – 5,000 XP
- Stage 3 of 5 – Earn XP in Creator Made Experiences (90,000) – 5,000 XP
- Stage 4 of 5 – Earn XP in Creator Made Experiences (120,000) – 5,000 XP
- Stage 5 of 5 – Earn XP in Creator Made Experiences (150,000) – 5,000 XP
Tricks & Treats
- Assist in destroying zombie road signs (3)
- Collect candy in different matches (3)
- Deal damage to enemy players before the first Storm Circle closes (100)
- Eliminate opponents with a Wood Stake Shotgun or Pumpkin Launcher (5)
- Earn XP in Creator Made Experiences (5 Stages)
Spooky Show Off
- Assist in destroying cameras or turrets (5)
- Assist in stealing items from a Vault Display Case (2)
- Deal damage to opponents while the blood moon is out (200)
- Score 50,000 points in the same trick on a Dirt Bike (1)
- Earn XP in Creator Made Experiences (5 Stages)
High Stakes Revenge
High Stakes Revenge quests are due to be released on October 16, 2023.
Be the Nightmare
Be the Nightmare quests are due to be released on October 23, 2023.
Fortnitemares 2023 Quest Rewards
Complete a certain number of the above Fortnitemares missions and you will receive the following awesome cosmetics. As there are only 11 missions at the moment, you can’t get any rewards other than the Bat Royale Back Bling and Cat Banner Icon. However, as other missions unlock and you complete them, you can get all the other rewards.
- After completing 5 Fortnitemares quests, you can get Bat Royale Back Bling and Cat Banner Icon.
- After completing 15 Fortnitemares quests, you can get Sweet! Emote, Phantasmic Fall Contrail, and Hypno-Bat Spray.
- After completing 25 Fortnitemares quests, you can get Revenant Rider Glider, Within the Sanctum Loading Screen, and Rise of the Revenant Lobby Track.
All Horde Rush Quests
These missions are exclusive to Horde Rush mode, so you can only complete them while playing Horde Rush mode in Fortnite.
- Earn a x40 KO Streak (1) – 25,000 XP
- Deal melee damage to Cube Monster spawners (6,000) – 25,000 XP
- Upgrade weapons at an upgrade bench in Horde Rush (5) – 25,000 XP
- Assist in collecting score multipliers (5) – 25,000 XP
- Assist in opening chests in Horde Rush (75) – 25,000 XP
- Help defeat the Boss in the final stage of Horde Rush (1) – 25,000 XP
- Hit headshots on Cube Monsters from at least 15 meters away (100) – 25,000 XP
- Eliminate Cube Monsters using explosives (200) – 25,000 XP
- Accumulate team points (1,000,000) – 25,000 XP
All Horde Rush Quests Rewards
If you complete the Horde Rush missions above, you can get the following Pickaxe, Emote, and Wrap.
- After completing 1 Horde Rush quest, you can get The Murk Wrap.
- After completing 4 Horde Rush quests, you can get Heart-o-Lantern Emoticon.
- After completing 7 Horde Rush quests, you can get a Batwing Bonespike Pickaxe.
