Unlocking the true ending of Black Myth: Wukong requires you to complete various quests and defeat powerful bosses, like dragons. To access these boss fights, you must find a secret item called Loong Scale, which is placed inside a hidden chamber in Chapter 2. Once you have it, you can challenge four Loong bosses in various locations in Black Myth: Wukong. Defeating these powerful creatures will reward you with a special weapon that you definitely want to get.

Before you can fight the dragon bosses in Black Myth: Wukong, you need to find a key item called the Loong Scale. You can get a hint about this item from the mysterious old man who gives you the ability to absorb spirits. Here is how you can obtain this object:

  1. Teleport to the Valley of Despair at Yellow Wind Ridge.
  2. Turn right and enter the cave.
  3. Jump down to the lowest floor and look for a wall with murals.

You won’t be able to destroy this wall with regular attacks. Luckily, there are several methods you can use to break it down:

  • Goad the First Prince of Flowing Sands to attack it.
  • Use the Wandering Wight transformation from the Chapter 1 area.
  • Use the Azure’s Dust transformation from the Chapter 2 area.

Where To Find All Dragon Bosses in Black Myth: Wukong

When you have the Loong Scale in your inventory, you will start hearing the mysterious old man’s voice whenever you get near a Loong boss arena in Black Myth: Wukong. There are four dragon bosses in total, but you have to defeat the first three before you can face the fourth Loong.

The first Loong boss you can face is located in the Outside the Forest area in the Forest of Wolves. You will need to find the waterfall located west of the Keeper’s Shrine. Here is how you can reach the arena:

  1. Head left at the first junction with two enemies.
  2. Follow the path until you see the bridge.
  3. Take the left road, and you will start to hear the voice.
  4. Walk straight toward the waterfall.

The second dragon boss is located in the Rock Rest Flat at Fright Cliff. You need to defeat the King and the Second Prince boss to reach this area. Luckily, you won’t miss this area since you need to pass this location to progress the main story.

  1. Teleport to the Rock Rest Flat Keeper’s Shrine.
  2. Walk up the stairs on your right side.
  3. Approach the sand waterfall.

The third Loong boss can be found on top of Turtle Island at Bitter Lake. You can access this area during Chapter 3 after you’ve escaped from the Pagoda Realm. After teleporting, just turn right and head down the slope. You will see a dragon fishing at the edge of the island. Be warned that the fight will automatically start when you approach the Yaoguai.

The last Loong boss you must face is located at the Relief of the Fallen Loong inside the Webbed Hollow. This area is quite hard to discover since the spider nest is difficult and confusing to traverse.

  1. Teleport to the Cliff of Oblivion Keeper’s Shrine.
  2. Cross the remains of Buddha’s Right Hand.
  3. Drop down the ledges until you reach a junction.
  4. Go left and cross a narrow rope bridge.
  5. Pass through the tunnel and cross another bridge.
  6. Activate the Relief of the Fallen Loong Shrine.
  7. Head toward the small pavilion on the edge of the cliff.

Defeating all four dragons will allow you to craft the Mythical staff called Golden Loong Staff. This weapon has 108 ATK and can summon a thunder dragon when using the heavy attack with a Pillar stance.
