So the first version you see on the list is the PC version of the game. This edition is all the same as the Cross-Gen Bundle for consoles, which are the base game editions. This means that the PC version and the Cross-Gen Bundle are the same thing, only for different platforms. However, pre-ordering these versions will come with some benefits.
If you pre-order one of the base Modern Warfare 3 editions for your PC, PlayStation, or Xbox, you’ll have access to the game’s campaign a week earlier than the official release date of the game. MW3 will be released on November 10, 2023, and that means you can play the story mode on November 2 or maybe 3. You can also have full access to the MW3 beta weeks coming in October for the Multiplayer mode.
But there’s one thing that you should know about MW3 base game editions pre-order. If you buy the digital versions, you’ll get all the mentioned features. But if you get the PS5 disk version of the game, you can not play the same game on PS4. The same will not apply to Xbox One and Series X|S.
