It isn’t a surprise that Fortnite keeps surprising players with new and unvaulted weapons each season. In a sense, this is a great way to keep things during every major update. If we had the same guns every season, we’d all stick to a certain loadout and wouldn’t try to mix things up. With so many vaulted and unvaulted guns, it encourages us to find a new one, master it, and eliminate other party bus hoppers. So, if you want to know about which are the new and unvaulted weapons of the current season, we have a full list here.

Chapter 5, Season 4 New Weapons

[Updated on August 30, 2024 – Updated the information to show the weapons of the current season]

With the Marvel-focused gameplay for Chapter 5, Season 4, Fortnite brought many new weapons, including a few unvaulted ones, to go with the current style. Many OG players might remember a few of them, which were available during the first big Avengers event, and others are brand-new for this season. We’ll begin with those before moving on to the unvaulted ones.

  • Dual Micro SMGs
  • Monarch Pistol
  • Sovereign Shotgun
  • War Machine’s Arsenal
  • War Machine’s Auto Turret

You can also find the Hover Boots for War Machine, but we didn’t include them since they aren’t technically a weapon. However, the new ones are great. My personal favorite is the Dual Micro SMGs, which I feel will get nerfed eventually. The Monarch Pistol is also fun to use with excellent hip-fire accuracy, and War Machine’s weapons are as slick as they are destructive. You can find most of these armaments in their mythic version, such as boss drops or normal loot.

Unvaulted Weapons

There are only three unvaulted weapons in Fortnite for Chapter 5, Season 4, but given how long it’s been since we saw a few of them, they’ll feel new to players. Here are the three armaments that left the vault this season:

  • Captain America’s Shield (First seen in Season 8)
  • Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets (First seen in Chapter 2, Season 4)
  • Striker Burst Rifle (First seen in Chapter 3, Season 2)

Vaulted Weapons

Last but not least, we have the guns and items that are now in the vault for this season. There are quite a few of them, but it makes sense because we’re leaving the wasteland-ish feel behind in favor of a more heroic one.

  • Cerberus’ Gatekeeper Shotgun
  • Combat Shotgun
  • Enforcer AR
  • Hand Cannon
  • Harbinger SMG
  • Huntress DMR
  • Megalo Don’s Nitro Fists
  • Oscar’s Frenzy Auto Shotgun
  • Ringmaster’s Boom Bolt
  • The Machinist’s Combat Assault Rifle

Ultimately, there’s no shortage of weapons you can use in Fortnite, and we’re sure we’ll see new ones and even some unvaulted ones as the seasons go by. In the meantime, you can use any of these heroic and villainous armaments to cause chaos and try to achieve that Battle Royale victory.
