In the latest Dead Space remake, there are six new suit upgrades for us to find the location of and use! These upgrades can give your armor extra strength and even give you extra inventory space, so they’re great to have.
However, as always, finding these suit upgrades can get pretty difficult if you don’t know where to look. Don’t worry, though; we’re here to help. Whether you’re a new Dead Space player and coming into the franchise for the first time, or a seasoned veteran, this guide is for you. Keep reading to learn about all suit upgrades and locations in Dead Space remake.
The only way to upgrade your suit is to find Suit Schematics, which can be found scattered around Ishimura. After that, you have to purchase them from the in-game shop.
Suit Level 1
The level 1 suit is what Isaac is already equipped with when you begin the game, so it is already unlocked for you. No need to do anything extra for this one.
Suit Level 2
Luckily for us, the Level 2 Suit Schematic doesn’t need to be found, and it can be purchased from the in-game shop right away. The Level 2 Suit costs 10,000 Credits and will increase your inventory slots to 18, and your armor strength will increase by 5%.
Suit Level 3
In order to find the Level 3 Suit Schematic, you’ll have to travel to the EVA Prep Room in Chapter 4. On the Bridge, you will find the Schematic, and it can be accessed from the Captain’s Nest. Once you’ve found it, it costs 20,000 Credits to purchase from the in-game shop and increases your inventory slots to 22, and your armor strength will increase by 10%.
Suit Level 4
You can find the Schematic for the Level 4 Suit in Chapter 7. As you explore the mining area to try to find the SOS Beacon, you’ll come across Nicole and a whole bunch of Necromorphs. After that, you’ll head to the Equipment Workshop, where the Level 4 Suit Schematic will be on a workbench. This upgrade will increase your inventory slots to 26, your armor to 15%, and will cost 35,000 Credits.
Suit Level 5
You can find the Level 5 Suit Schematic within the Crew’s Quarters in Chapter 10. You can find it in the Standard Bathrooms, sitting on a bench. Within the in-game Shop, the level 5 Suit will cost 60,000 Cretis, have 26 inventory slots, and 20% armor.
Suit Level 6
You can only find the Level 6 Suit in the New Game+ mode, and it can be found in the in-game shop. You can purchase it for 99,000 Credits.
