Blasphemous 2, a direct sequel to the acclaimed 2019 original, has raised the bar with significant improvements in gameplay and visuals. As the valiant Penitent One, a silent knight bound by duty, your journey begins with an important choice. You will get to choose from three distinct weapons, a mace, daggers, or a sword. Once you select the desired weapon, you will be set on a quest through the dark and haunting realm of Cvstodia. Whichever weapon you choose as your starter in Blasphemous 2, you will have a chance to obtain the other two while you explore the 2D world, and we share their location.
Blasphemous 2: All Weapons
In Blasphemous 2, players have the opportunity to wield three distinct weapons, each offering a unique approach to combat. These weapons are:
- Veredicto: A formidable mace with immense power and range, though it has a flow, it is very slow. Attacks with Veredicto can stun enemies, and each strike generates Fervour. Hold down the corresponding button to unleash a charged Thunder of Mercy attack. Additionally, players can set the mace ablaze using Embers of Faith with the right bumper, which is connected to the amount of Fervour you have acquired. You can spin the mace by kneeling and repeatedly pressing the attack button. This will consume time, but the damage is huge, making it one of the best weapons in Blasphemous 2.
- Sarmiento & Centella: The agile double daggers, Sarmiento & Centella, provide unparalleled speed for quick kills. When you slide with the right trigger followed by an attack button you will execute the Sacred Thrust. These daggers enable players to parry incoming attacks using the right bumper.
- Ruego Al Alba: Ideal for beginners, the single-blade weapon Ruego Al Alba offers a balance between power and speed. By acquiring a Blood Pact, players can even heal while wielding this blade. Its Weight of Sin downward thrust attack is executed by pressing down followed by the attack button. Additionally, parrying can be achieved with the right bumper. All of these abilities make it a great weapon.

Where To Find Veredicto (Mace) in Blasphemous 2
You will find Veredicto in the Sacred Entombment area of the map. However, reaching this location can be tricky. You will need to follow the northwest path all the way from the City of Blessed Name through the dangerous Aqueduct of the Costales until you reach it. Once in the Sacred Entombment area, go west and climb up to the most left corner of the map to reach the location of the Veredicto. Prepare for a few fights along the way that can’t be avoided.
Where To Find Sarmiento & Centella (Daggers)
To get the Sarmiento and Centella, you will need to travel to the Palace of the Embroideries. You will start from the City of Blessed Name and venture through Grilles and Ruin to reach the palace. The daggers are located in a chamber in the lower left corner of the map. Go east from the city until you get to a dangling chandelier surrounded by two mirrors. Jump on the chandelier and let it take you down to a lower level. Now, go right, following the pathway to the location where the daggers rest on a pedestal.
Where To Find Ruego Al Alba (Sword)
If you haven’t selected it as your starting weapon, Ruego Al Alba can be found in the Crown of Towers region. Head east from the City of Blessed Name and pass through Grilles and Ruin. Now, instead of going down, you will want to head upwards and get to the upper right corner in the Crown of Towers region. Here, you will find the pedestal with a sword in it.
