It wasn’t long ago when we were mentioning that the survival horror genre is about to get a huge revival. One of the biggest news we got this year was about the new Silent Hill game and the remake of Silent Hill 2. Plus, beyond that franchise, the Resident Evil 4 remake is also in the works and not far from getting here. Well, it seems that the genre isn’t planning to hit the breaks yet. Amnesia: The Bunker just released its official announcement trailer. For those who don’t know, Amnesia games have been one of the scariest and most amazing survival horror titles in the past years.
Amnesia: The Bunker will release for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles in March 2023
The Amnesia: The Bunker trailer is quite short but it captures everything we love about Amnesia games. The game seems to add a bit more survival elements. At least this time we’re getting a gun so, that is a huge help. But, that is not what has made these games stand out so much. The perfectly crafted levels, puzzles, and atmosphere are some of the things players love, and hope more games try to replicate that.

Amnesia: The Bunker has a release window for March 2023, however, there is no set date yet. Yet, given what we’ve seen in the trailer, we can safely say that the game is looking great so far. According to the description, the game will put us inside a WW1 bunker and a semi-open world. Again, it is nice to see more titles adopting a semi-open world approach like God of War: Ragnarok. However, this game is nothing like that one. A survival horror game made by Frictional Games in a bigger world? We are more than ready for that! The game is still in development though and we’ll have to wait for more news in the next months.
