An Oklahoma Influencer Responds Angrily Because Her Husband Is Deployed Near Yemen, but Not Everyone Is Sympathetic to Her: ‘Shouldn’t Be in Yemen in the First Place 😒’

This is very sad for all those affected and their families

With all the information leaked from the Signal chat group about the airstrikes in Yemen, many people reacted negatively. Many of the initial responses was concern, whereas some others felt angry. For example, this Oklahoma influencer and wife shared a rant video on TikTok because her husband, who is a US soldier, is in a location very close to Yemen. Many US citizens are clearly terrified by all the soldiers from their country who are working in the Middle East. However, many people did not react as empathetically to this woman or the other family members of those deployed.

@kendallybrown

News just broke that JD Vance, Marco Rubio and Pete Hegseth (among others) violated the espionage act and endangered the lives of thousands of troops in Yemen and nearby countries by sharing HIGHLY classified information via a SIGNAL CHAT. #news #breaking #politics #military

On her TikTok, kendallybrown often discusses mental health issues such as PTS and politics; most recently, she has been speaking out against the government. But this activist and influencer shared in a video full of anger against the US government, in particular, because her husband is near Yemen. Kendal explains that this is a worrying issue in itself, but it took a turn for the worse after the Signal chat group leaked, claiming that the US is sending airstrikes to Yemen. Of course, this Oklahoma wife is highly concerned that her husband could be in the crossfire in Yemen while he is doing his duty as a soldier and that the government does not care. So many people rallied in solidarity with Kendall. However, many others began questioning why Kendall’s husband would be anywhere near the Middle East.

Shouldn’t Be in Yemen in the First Place 😒

The problem isn’t that the soldiers are in the Middle East, as they supposedly help maintain commercial routes. However, this goes much further. The main point is that people who oppose US interventionism in other countries use “national security” as an excuse.

The anger you have because your husband’s life MIGHT be in danger? Imagine how Yemeni people feel? Imagine being somewhere else in the world knowing your family are in Yemen being bombed by the US

So, while people understand Kendall, they feel more empathy and concern for the citizens in Yemen. Mainly because even though US soldiers follow orders, they choose to join the military themselves. Sadly, the government doesn’t seem to care about their soldiers’ lives at all.
