Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have endured a very messy and public divorce. The former fan-favorite celebrity couple are still navigating the details of their split years after calling it quits. Over the years, they’ve battled over assets and engaged in an ugly custody battle over their six children, Pax, Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox. Now, after so much bad blood within the family, the A-listers’ daughter is asking for peace.
According to Life and Style, the actor’s daughter, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, is hoping that her family can heal from all of the drama that they’ve been through. The teenager is hopeful that she can get her parents on siblings on board in order to be a happier and more well-rounded family.
“[Shiloh] loves both her parents, and while she understands things will always be different, her dream is to see them become friends,” the insider dished.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s Daughter Shiloh Hopes for Peace Within the Family
Recently, it was revealed that Shiloh opted to move out of Angelina Jolie’s home. She now resides with her father, Brad Pitt. The move allegedly caused more tension between the divorced couple. However, the young star is said to share a special bond with her famous dad.
“As she’s gotten older, it’s become pretty clear that Shiloh is her father’s daughter,” another source previously revealed. “They both love to shoot hoops and talk about things like the environment, classic movies and books. They have a special bond.”
However, not all of Shiloh’s siblings feel the same way as she does. Her older brother, Maddox is said to be Team Angelina all the way. “Maddox has clearly sided with Angelina, but Shiloh just wants her family to be whole and happy again,” the informant continued.
Sadly, it’s unclear whether Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will ever be able to put their ill feelings toward one another aside for the sake of their children. However, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt remains hopeful that she can help her parents close the rift.
