Most road rage incidents tend to be emotionally motivated, but for one Person of Color in Florida, he was rather puzzled because the man who assaulted him seemingly did it out of nowhere. When he confronted the aggressor, the aggrieved driver was then further threatened with ICE, or the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The alarming incident reportedly took place on a highway in Jacksonville, Florida, around early December. TikTok user kodrift, presumably the driver taking the video, alleged that the pickup truck driver threatened him with a weapon before the recording, “This man just pulled a [expletive] gun on me for no reason– for letting him pass!”
For some reason, the aggrieved driver still confronted the pickup truck driver, despite knowing that he had a weapon. The truck driver then noticed and immediately stopped his car to confront and further threaten the Person of Color, yelling,“Don’t ever talk [expletive] to me again! You don’t know who the [expletive] I am!” before going back to his truck. Prior to speeding away, the pickup driver also yelled, “I’ll call ICE.”
The pickup truck driver was supposedly identified as Robert Wilkins, working for a company named Lawns Unlimited LLC. Sadly, companies with the same name have drawn negative reviews and publicity even though they’re not affiliated or connected with the same Lawns Unlimited LLC as the pickup truck driver.
People Online Are Pointing Out the Man’s Background
Apart from numerous angry people online trying to call the now-unavailable phone number on the pickup truck, several other commenters have also noticed some worrying details about the pickup truck driver. “So nobody is going to mention the 3% vest and patch he’s wearing? Dude is a straight up white supremacist,” assumes a Reddit user.
Others have wondered why the pickup truck driver was operating a company with the same name as Yelp-listed ones in Florida, “I’m betting he doesn’t actually have an LLC on his ‘Lawns Unlimitied’ business, probably operates under the table, and the official west-coast company is getting google hate bc of that dork,” with another responding “The real lawns unlimited LLC is apparently going to be suing this guy lol.”
In any case, it appears the victim of the road rage was physically fine, though there was no shortage of criticisms towards his reaction, especially to someone who supposedly threatened him with a weapon. “If he had just pulled a gun on me I would NOT have pulled up next to him saying some shit 😅 kids lucky he didn’t get shot,” argues a commenter.
