As a parent, one would expect a night out with their kids to be peaceful and memorable. Unfortunately, that isn’t always the case. Sometimes, some awful people do their worst to ruin one’s night. A situation like this happened to a mother in Nashville, Tennessee. This mom took her two kids out to a concert, and while they had a great time at it, the nightmare began as soon as they left the place. When this Nashville mom approached her vehicle, she discovered someone broken her windows, forcing her to try to get home with a damaged car and in 10-degree temperatures.
The heartbroken mother from Nashville shared her story on Reddit. You can see a couple of pictures in her post where she describes going to a Highly Suspect concert with her two. However, when they left the show in Nashville, she discovered that someone had broken the passenger-side window.
She mentions how, besides the window-breaking situation, someone went through her dashboard and console, meaning that the culprit was looking for something. The mother didn’t mention anything in the post about lost items or anything else, but the broken window was already a huge problem for her to deal with.
According to the victim, she and her two kids had to drive back home, which took them around an hour and a half. However, they did so with the broken window and 10-degree temperatures outside, meaning that the family was freezing inside the vehicle.
The silver lining of the situation is that this happened while they were in the concert, meaning that the mother and the two kids were safe, but the same can’t be said for the car. At the moment, a lot of people have suggested filing a report, asking people around the parking lot if they saw anything, and contacting the insurance company. The strange thing is that, of the 30 cars in the parking lot, no other vehicle got broken into, meaning that the culprit was targeting this particular SUV, or someone caught them before they could break into another car.
In any case, people have shared their condolences with the mother, commenting on the heartbreaking situation.
“Well, that ruined the night. How awful,” said ImThatHorror.
“Hard lesson to learn. Never leave anything in your vehicle that looks interesting. No visible change, devices, or clothes,” commented UltimateDonny.
At the time of writing, it’s uncertain whether the woman filed a report or contacted the authorities, but we hope she did. Someone needs to find the person who did this and hopefully stop them before they break into another car and ruin someone else’s evening, or worse.
