Video of Honey Boo Boo Begging Goes Viral
In the latest episode of Mama June: Family Crisis, fans watched as Mama June faced her family’s wrath after stealing Honey Boo Boo’s earnings. Following a serious confrontation, the matriarch revealed she had taken money from her daughter’s Coogan account — a trust where parents of child stars are legally required to deposit a percentage of their earnings. Turns out Mama June spent a whopping $150,000 on a house purchase, leaving the young star with only $33,000. Considering the amount wasn’t enough to foot her college tuition, Honey Boo Boo solicited funds on her TikTok Live.
The video reposted on Reddit showed the reality TV star looking ecstatic as fans sent her gifts. “I feel like this is better than starting a whole account,” she said. Honey Boo Boo then continued, begging fans for a dollar each, noting that it would be enough to pay for the whole semester.
“If everybody sends a dollar to this cash app right here. I mean you don’t have to,” she noted.
Supporters seemingly came to Honey Boo Boo’s aid as she appeared overwhelmed by the reactions.
Fans Bash Honey Boo Boo for Asking for Money

“Disgusting little greedy girl🤢. Also, idiots sending her money there are far more deserving kids sitting in actual poverty,” one fan wrote.
Another fan accused Honey Boo Boo of being a scam.
“I can’t believe all the idiots supporting her. That whole family is a bunch of scammers and con artists. Wake up people.”
A third fan shared:
“She was waiting for this episode to drop so she could grift!!!”
A fourth Redditor noted:
“It’s sad that she knows how to beg for $$$ and even sadder that people are falling for it.”
One particular fan questioned the authenticity of Honey Boo Boo’s request. According to them, tuition for the Spring semester at Regis University (Honey Boo Boo’s school) should have been paid in full before January 24. Some even asked the school to reconsider having the TV personality as a student, as she appeared to tarnish their image. For others, it didn’t seem right for fans to send an already-made “TV star” money.
