Growing up, my mother was the type of woman to take things away from me if she felt that I had behaved in a way that meant I didn’t deserve them. Looking back at that, she was right to do that because it really shaped how I view my belongings. One Washington woman needed to teach this same lesson to her son when she found him misbehaving at home.
The video is all taken from a single angle, but that’s really all that’s needed to depict the true anger that this mother must have felt in order to destroy the gaming system her son clearly loves so much.
The above video was posted to the TikTok account @ftk.jk, which belongs to a woman named Ann Missa, according to the profile biography. The video is actually in response to a comment made on the very same video, asking for the music to be turned off so that viewers can hear what was being said. From the home security camera facing the driveway of Ann Missa’s home, you can see the entire exchange unfold as she walks outside with what looks to be a carrying case for gaming consoles.
She continues to walk across the driveway before stopping about halfway and placing the carrying case on the ground. Shortly after this, you can see a young boy turning the same corner that Ann Missa did when she first appeared in the frame. You can then see Ann open up the carrying case and say to the boy, “I don’t know what it’s gonna take to do [redacted] better. But, whatever it is, you’re going to [redacted] learn.”
She can then be seen taking items out of the case and quite literally smashing them against the driveway’s concrete. One by one, you can see what appear to be controllers, accessories, and finally, a gaming console get destroyed.

The comments immediately filled up with empathetic replies supporting Ann through what must have clearly been a hard decision for her to make. One person even said, “I hear the hurt in your voice momma. And I know you cried when no one was around. You got this momma you are doing an amazing job 🩵.” Other comments were less specific, but cheering her on regardless, simply saying, “I support this message 10000%.”
There is even a different video from the same angle that shows the direct aftermath, in which the boy was expected to pick up and throw away all of the broken pieces. You can see him do so with tears in his eyes after his mother walks back inside.
Ann has since posted an update video that further details what her son even did to deserve having his gaming system destroyed. From the looks of it, it seems like it was a long time coming for this boy, and I can only hope that he thinks twice the next time he angers his mother.
