Besides Karens, the other people who feel like a plague in this country are pranksters. Long gone are the days when some of the pranks were lighthearted and actually funny. Now, some of these people just try to do annoying things to get internet clout, and in truth, they just make everyone around them facepalm. One of these cases happened in a vegan restaurant in Massachusetts, where an annoying customer thought it’d be a good idea to put a chicken cutlet inside his sandwich. He was not expecting, however, that the store’s owner would crash out and chase him out.
The clip begins with the poor attempt of a prankster approaching one of the workers inside the store, and saying, “I don’t want to complain or anything, but there’s a chicken cutlet on there.” He then mentions that this is a vegan restaurant, which makes the whole thing look weird.
The employee quickly takes the sandwich away and shows it to the store’s owner. At this point, the prankster continues to mention how they found the chicken cutlet inside his BLT. While one of the employees is laughing at the matter, the store’s owner isn’t too patient. As soon as they arrive, they start furiously yelling at the man to get out of the store. You can notice that this was a poor attempt at a prank because the one filming says, “Just give me a $100 in cash.” However, the owner doesn’t relent, as they continue to yell at the prankster to get out.
Since the yelling failed, the store owner decides to chase the man out. The latter quickly runs to his car and gets inside. He tells the driver to wait a bit to continue filming the situation, but as soon as he sees the owner approach, they hit the gas and escape. You can hear the owner yelling, “Yeah, come back.”
Naturally, instead of being funny, this angered a lot of people online, who didn’t hold back against the annoying prankster.
“Loser behaviour. Get a hobby,” wrote one user.
“The only real chicken in the store is the prankster,” commented another user.
In truth, there’s a lot of prankster fatigue lately. These people are becoming more annoying by the day, and the things they think are funny aren’t anymore. More often than not, they affect people’s livelihoods and end up causing bad situations for anyone involved. We can only hope that a day will come when we won’t have to witness any of these eye-rolling incidents.
