Apewar Update v0.7 Patch Notes

Monkeys are only strong when they work together, and that’s certainly the case for Gombe Games’ Apewar. Having just recently launched on Steam Early Access this past March 24, 2024, Gombe Games is already administering fixes for their online shooter. The bananas have been split for v0.7 of Apewar, complete with a plentiful variety of adjustments.

Apewar Update v0.7

A Chinese server was added to the game specifically for Chinese players.
Unreadable text due to font issues has been fixed.
Chinese text displays have been corrected.
Russian text displays have been corrected.
Japanese text displays have been corrected.
The Credits section has been updated.
Issues caused by tank coding have been fixed.
Tanks have been added back to the Forest map, but now there will only be 2 tanks on the map.
Banana (health pack) and ammo boxes have been added to certain areas of the Forest map.
Friendly fire has been completely removed from the game.
Bombs and grenade launchers no longer damage the player when they fire at themselves.
The fixed camera problem after death has been resolved, and now players can watch the player who killed them for 5 seconds.
In-game currency called BNNC (Banana Coin) has been added to the game.
The damage of the APEBOMBER32 weapon has been reduced from 40 to 25, and the reload speed has been increased from 5.5 to 6.
The damage of the APE7 weapon has been reduced from 90 to 60, the firing rate has been increased from 0.7 to 1, and the running and jumping speed has been decreased (it now fires more slowly and deals less damage).
The sound of falling to the ground has been updated.
A new explosion effect has been added to the tank’s missile.
The tank’s health has been increased to 1000.
The tank can now fire every 3 seconds.
The tank’s speed has been reduced by 15%.
Gravity has been added to the tank missile, resulting in a more realistic tank missile effect.
The issue of the sea disappearing when the game is set to low settings on the Ship map has been fixed.
