After much anticipation and rumors, fans of Apex Legends will enjoy the official release of Season 17 on May 9, 2023. Ahead of its launch next month, Electronic Arts have revealed the first details of Apex Legends Season 17, including a new legend called Ballistic. Also, it will introduce an updated world’s age map and expanded ring range.
Apex Legends Season 17 Legend and Release Revealed
Respawn has disclosed the new legend who will premiere in the battle royale. The announcement follows Apex Legends’ decision not to add a new character with Season 16. With a steady pace of quality-of-life updates and other tweaks and additions to the game, a new Legend for the upcoming will be a teaser for fans.

The new legend is an old-timer from the Thunderdome games era. Ballistic is certainly the oldest Legend to join the Apex Games, at 63 years old. Even though not much is revealed about the character’s abilities or mechanics, On April 26, the Season 17 launch trailer will provide more details. Respawn also teased that changes are coming to Ranked play.
In addition to the new character, there will be other changes this season. There will be new versions of the World’s Edge map, the Firing Range, and a new feature called “Weapon Mastery.” Using Weapon Mastery, players can complete challenges and earn rewards as they complete them.
Starting with Season 9, Respawn Entertainment decided to give each new season of the game its name. The title for Season 17 is ‘Arsenal.’ As the title goes, this season will accomplish amazing stuff with the amazing weaponry and firearms that the new legend will add.
