The Apple TV+ drama series The Morning Show has been officially renewed for Season 3. The drama series is based around the people that helped create the fictionalized talk show. Jennifer Aniston stars as Alex Levy, and Reese Witherspoon stars as Bradley Jackson. Both Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon will return for Season 3 of The Morning Show. Kerry Ehrin developed the series and worked as the showrunner for the first two seasons. Ehrin will still continue to develop the series behind the scenes but has stepped down as showrunner. She had initially replaced Jay Carson as showrunner. Charlotte Stoudt will serve as the showrunner for the Apple TV+ drama series for Season 3. Stoudt is a previous Writer’s Guild Award winner and has worked on the series Fosse/Verdon, Homeland, and House of Cards.
Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston Have Critics Raving
Apple TV+ knew they had gold when they won the rights to the drama series. Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon previously signed a three-year deal and earned upwards of $1.25 million per episode, which included executive producer fees. The series has included the #MeToo movement, the covid-19 pandemic, and the 2020 election. Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston have effortlessly depicted a toxic workplace and the chaos of the world today. They make a compelling team in the Apple TV+ drama series. Season 3 of The Morning Show should be no exception to intertwining the real-life events with the fictional lives of the characters. Charlotte Stoudt commented on the series on Monday, saying:
The cast, led by the phenomenal Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, are truly to die for. Kerry, Mimi and Michael, and the teams at Media Res, Hello Sunshine and Echo Films, have created an irresistible world that is equally delicious and provocative.”
Season 2 of The Morning Show ended in late 2021, but the start of Season 3 has not been announced.
