In their quest for a more private life for their beautiful family of four, Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have refrained from sharing photos of their two children, save for a few pics showing them as infants, released occasionally. However, the Sussexes seem to have loosened the reins in recent times. The Duchess, who made her grand Instagram return this year, has created a compromise by sharing photos of their little royals facing away from the camera, or with their faces concealed.
The mom of two grew even bolder this week, sharing a montage of photos and videos of her husband and kids to commemorate the UK’s Father’s Day. Unlike previous posts, which mask her kids’ appearances, the clip showed several glimpses of Prince Archie and Lilibet’s faces as they enjoyed fun moments with their dad, Prince Harry. This subtle change did not go unnoticed by insiders.
Prince Harry’s Selfish Reason For Sharing Kids Archie and Lilibet’s Photos
Speaking to The Daily Mail’s Spotlight, one insider claimed the inclusion of snaps showing Harry and Meghan’s kids was no coincidence or editing oversight. Contrariwise, the Duke of Sussex intentionally featured the youngsters in recent Instagram posts as a desperate attempt to win back the royal family. According to the source, Prince Harry feels completely heartbroken by his dad’s refusal to see him or his kids, even after putting them in the cards during his lengthy court battle to secure taxpayers-funded UK police security. Hence, dangling Archie and Lilibeth in front of the cameras, yet out of the monarch’s reach, is a last resort to bait him, albeit emotionally. The insider claimed,
“He’s desperately hoping the king might see a picture of Archie or Lilibet and realise what he’s missing.”
Going further, the insider revealed that Prince Harry has repeatedly tried to reach his dad over the years to no avail. The claim conforms with the 40-year-old’s revelation in his controversial BBC interview, that King Charles was refusing to speak to him, and would not even take his calls or reply to his messages. Harry admitted in the interview that he had no idea how much longer the monarch had to live as his cancer battle prevailed, and hence, was open to a royal reconciliation. With both his public cries and personal efforts ignored, the Prince found himself out of options. The insider explained,
“He’s tried everything – calls, letters… But nothing’s worked. This is his way of saying, ‘Look at what you’re missing.’ “

Aside from becoming more free-handed with Archie and Lilibet’s photos, Prince Harry and Meghan have also become more generous with personal details about life in California with their kids. Meghan’s Lemonada Media podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, saw her delve deeper into details of her motherhood journey, including previously undisclosed health struggles. Additionally, she shared a rare glimpse into her private moment in the hospital with Harry, just before welcoming daughter Princess Lilibeth.
The clip, which featured a heavily pregnant Meghan twerking in the delivery room with Harry, has since gone viral, earning her criticism from royal fans. Yet, such a deterrent to her less private life hasn’t stopped the proud mom from cracking open the impenetrable privacy shell she built around her life in Montecito. This only fuels claims that Harry and Meghan are indeed on a mission, one that involves their kids.
