Ariana Grande has collaborated with so many artists over the years, from Lady Gaga and Mariah Carey to The Weeknd and Nicki Minaj. With her new album on the horizon, fans wondered whether Eternal Sunshine would have any big features as well. On Tuesday, February 27, Grande confirmed her record will include a special guest. However, it’s someone no one expected.
Ariana Grande Unveils “Eternal Sunshine” Tracklist
So, who is Grande collaborating with this time around? As it turns out, it’s none other than her grandmother, Marjorie Grande, who is the mother of the singer’s mom, Joan Grande. The 98-year-old will help close out Eternal Sunshine by lending her voice to the track “Ordinary Things.” She’s credited under the name “Nonna,” which is the Italian word for grandmother.
Grande confirmed the surprising collaboration on Instagram. With just 10 days left until the release of Eternal Sunshine, the star surprised fans by unveiling her album’s tracklist. Her post revealed the project will feature 13 tracks, including her hit No. 1 single “Yes, And?” which she released back in January.
While Grande teamed up with Mariah Carey for a “Yes, And?” remix earlier this month, it won’t be included on Eternal Sunshine. That means her grandmother will be the only featured guest on her album.
Eternal Sunshine will drop on Friday, March 8. To help promote the record, Grande will release the second part of her interview with the Zach Sang Show that same day through Amazon Music. The star will discuss each of her album’s 13 songs in detail during the chat.
Grande previously teased her album and touring plans while appearing on the Zach Sang Show on Monday, February 26.
