Ariana Grande continues to spark concerns for her health, and a recent Instagram post may well have just spiked those worries. A weekend repost on a fan account showed the singer snapping a selfie on the beach, and with an undies look showing off her slender frame, fans may well have gotten talking.
Ariana, who made 2023 headlines for asking fans to stop commenting on bodies on TikTok and last year said it’s “uncomfortable and horrible” to remark on people’s shape, has continued to raise the alarm in 2025, with some fans convinced that she’s suffering from an eating disorder. In this selfie, the Grammy winner highlighted her super-slender figure. Ariana also has comments on her Instagram disabled, with discussions about her health happening off her feed for obvious reasons.
Ariana Grande Hits The Beach Amid Plummeting Weight Fears
Looking fresh-faced as she sent the camera a soft smile, Ariana enjoyed a solo moment on an abandoned beach with loungers and parasols in the backdrop. Posing with the ocean visible nearby, the ex to Pete Davidson modeled a skimpy, semi-sheer bra with feathery accents, showcasing her tiny arms and shoulders while teasing her curves and abs.
Showing hints of jeans as she used both hands to hold her phone and snap her selfie, Ariana wore her light hair tied back into a ponytail, completing her look with a necklace and tiny pearl earrings. The R.E.M. Beauty founder added a full face of matte makeup, sporting a contour over foundation, pink cheek blush, plus a rosy lip and catwing eyeliner.
Fans Worried She Has An Eating Disorder
When a Reddit thread discussed Ariana’s changing appearance eight months ago, the top reply suggested that Ariana does have issues with food. “She’s had an eating disorder for a long time. She had a Tumblr account back in the day that made that pretty clear,” the user wrote. Over 3,000 users agreed.
“Idk if an ED has been confirmed but it’s pretty clear she has one,” another user wrote. Meanwhile, 2,800 users upvoted a reply reading: “I think she might have an eating disorder or some other sort of medical condition not disclosed to the public that makes her super thin.”
Ariana has confirmed that 2023 remarks left to her body were fans comparing her to her “unhealthiest” self, also stating: “I was on a lot of antidepressants and drinking on them and eating poorly.” The pop superstar has not, however, confirmed that she is suffering from an eating disorder; however, fans continue to remark on her shrinking frame.
