Ariel Winter might be known for her signature red hair, but it was a blonde affair on Instagram as the sitcom star showed off light locks back in 2020. Posting for her 5.1 million followers, Ariel updated her account in promo mode for John Freida, showing off gorgeous, platinum-blonde hair and even posting a shower video.
Telling her fans that blondes “have more fun,” Ariel threw in an old-school line as she went modern-day bombshell, also making sure to show herself using the haircare brand’s products as she washed her hair in the shower. Fans have left the Modern Family alum over 120,000 likes.
Ariel Winter Shows Off Blonde ‘Fun’ On Instagram
Opening with a selfie of herself holding up the Violet Crush range from John Freida, Ariel sent out a soft smile as she rocked a ribbed, low-cut top in baby pink.
Going girly as she showed off the haircare products she was promoting, the former ABC star drove fans to swipe, returning in video mode and from a swanky marbled shower.
Shot close up and from behind, Ariel was seen lathering her hair up from a shower, although she did return for more still shots to show off the results.
‘Bring On The Blonde’
Going for an old-school glam vibe in her next slide, Ariel dolled herself up with a red lip, also going for cute curls as she showcased her stunning hairdo. The actress also made sure to toy around with her curled hair in video mode in a further slide as she wrote:
“Blondes have more fun😉 + also require more maintenance. The @johnfriedaus Violet Crush Shampoo + Conditioner is my at-home go-to to keep this summertime blonde fresh and bright since I can’t get into the salon as much🥺! Check it out at @target 😍#ForHairThatDemandsAttention #BringOnTheBlonde.”
Looks like fans are into Ariel and the product! “Okay I ACTUALLY use this shampoo guys, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! it adds so much colour and volume to my hair!” one user replied.
“Curled hair and red lipstick gives me Marilyn Monroe vibes,” another wrote.
Ariel had respected Instagram‘s promotional guidelines as she opened her caption with a #ad. As to what she might have been paid, chances are it all rests on following and engagement.
“Influencers with up to 1 million followers can get $10,000 [per post], depending on the platform, and 1 million followers and up, you’re getting into territory where they can charge $100,000. Some can even get $250,000 for a post! Especially if the content is on Youtube and the influencer is in the gaming industry,” Vox states.
