Arizona Content Creator Realizes on Plane that She’s on Wrong Flight, ‘I’m So Avoidant I Would Have Ended Up in Tunisia’

What a terrible experience

I’ll admit, I don’t think I’ve ever gone on a flight to another country without double-checking, triple-checking, and quadruple-checking that everything is in order. I mean, unless you are familiar with wherever it is you are going, then you’re just leaving your whole life behind in a different place; that’s terrifying. One Arizona content creator was met with that exact fear when she realized she was headed to the wrong place on her international flight. It’s okay, though, she found out… after she was already on the wrong flight.

Arizona travel influencer Brittany Dzialo posted a shocking video featuring a plane full of travelers heading to Tunis, Africa. What makes the situation so funny is that she was planning to head to Nice, France. While those two places sound completely different when you say them out loud, I can see exactly where the problem arose. I’m sure when she was asking to purchase the ticket, she said something along the lines of, “One ticket to Nice, please.” Said out loud, I can see the mix-up.

In fact, one person in the comments explained the potential scenarios best, saying, ““Two tickets to Nice, please.” “Right, two tickets, Tunis. There you go.” Many other commenters went to the replies to share their sympathies, with various saying that they would have made the same mistake. One of the top comments says, “i’m so avoidant i would have ended up in tunisia.”

Fortunately, other travellers on the same plane picked up on the issue, making sure that Dzialo and the friend she was travelling with knew exactly where they were going. On Dzialo’s page are other videos that detail the rest of the situation, even showing how they attempted to have everything resolved after landing in Africa, as it was a fault of the airline. Apparently, the girls were originally supposed to leave much earlier, but missed their flight, forcing them to have it rescheduled for a different time. It was during the rescheduling process that the ticket was changed to a completely different country altogether.

Fortunately, by the time the girls went through security, spoken to various managers, and experienced what is likely the most stressful time of their lives, they were finally put on a plane to Nice, France. Let’s hope that, with this experience, Dzialo never has another issue traveling ever again.
