We’ve had a spate of racist incidents lately. From a bigot in Albany to a Beverly Hills influencer to a California man harassing students in UCLA. Sadly, it almost feels like a daily occurrence at the moment, which brings us to today’s encounter with a racist young man in Scottsdale, Arizona that’s currently making the rounds online. Attending the WM Open, a young guy has been caught on film going off on a racist tirade about Mexicans, while saying “Heil Hitler” multiple times.
The footage is taken at a bar at the WM Open golf event that’s going on in Scottsdale, Arizona right now. In it, we see a young man sporting a green polo shirt and a black cap with the Vivint logo emblazoned across it. If you weren’t sure before, this guy is a Vivint employee, or well, ex-employee but I don’t want to get too ahead of my skis yet.
The guy seems a little inebriated, as his speech is a little slurred, but his words are clear as day. His shocking monologue starts mid-sentence: “…Should be sliced at the throat. Listen, because you guys were god d*mn border hopping n****rs.” The woman recording the footage then asks the man, “What did you say about Mexican men?” In response, the young man then goes off on a tangent and begins talking about nazis.
“Do you know what 1444 means?” he explains, before saying something hard to discern. The next part, however, is clear as day: “Heil Hitler.” he says proudly, before repeating it one more time. He adds, “You dumb a** b****s don’t know s**t.” That’s not all, however, as he then proceeds to share his feelings about Mexicans. “You wanna know something about Mexicans? You god d**n b**ners should be sliced at the throat at the border. We should slice you god d*mn b**ners at the throat. You wanna know why? Because you guys are god d*mn border hopping n***ers.”
As one might expect, with the footage gaining momentum online, the young man has drawn much criticism from netizens for his hateful and disgusting remarks. Firstly, and as touched on up above, the man’s employer, Vivint, has terminated his contract. Taking to the Instagram post above, the smart energy company officially chimed in, making its position clear, stating:
We have identified the individual and terminated his employment. This behavior is abhorrent and in no way reflects the values of our brand.

Elsewhere, other commenters expressed ire, with one taking aim over on Reddit at the young man’s poor knowledge of nazis, “Bahaha, even I know it’s “1488” and not “1444” The guy can’t even do a racism right“
Meanwhile, another Instagram user, wrote: “Someone is going to regret tomorrow 🫣”
A third comment read, “I remember my first beer. The end result was nothing like this.”
Ultimately, while this clip serves as a timely reminder for accountability and prejudice at a time when racial prejudice is increasingly common, it’s positive seeing the quick response of his employer Vivint, which made the right call to fire this young man for spreading his awful, racist views.
