A content creator who films music videos around his own Arizona community knows the importance of being a good neighbor. And sometimes that means finding someone who’s down on their luck and giving them a bit of a boost. In one of his most recent videos, he put he barber skills to the test on a homeless man.
TikTok user Neatmartinez, Yung Neat, came across a homeless man in Phoenix, who was clearly in need of a pick-me-up. In the video, Martinez sets up a makeshift barber shop right on the sidewalk. He starts buzzing down the man’s hair and then chopping away at his beard to smooth things out. The speed and precision in which Yung Neat trims everything up is pretty impressive!
When he’s finally finished giving this man the cut, he helps him wash him down right there on the sidewalk. Martinez gives him the full service: shampooing everything and then spritzing the man with some fresh water so he can go about his day feeling better than ever. (Because we all know how annoying leftover hair is after a cut.) Martinez even gets down and washes the man’s feet and puts him in some new shoes and a t-shirt.
At the end of the video, Martinez gives the man a plate of delicious food he picked up locally and is given the biggest, happiest hug of all time. He shows a before-and-after and this man looks like a completely new person. But even better than that? He’s finally smiling in his photo!
The Internet reacts with love and admiration
Not only were there hundreds of comments praising Yung Neat for his good dead, they gave so much love to the homeless man. There were more than one comparisons made to Jesus. “He washed his feet showing love like Jesus 🥰,” one viewer wrote.
Another user was touched by the man’s smile, “His smile at the end,” they said, followed by a picture of SpongeBob crying. “He’s so handsome cleaned up!” one user exclaimed. He does clean up really well!
One TikTok viewer, who shared they were a medical student, was so inspired they wrote, “Do you need help? I’m a medical student in Phoenix and would love to help you.” Now imagine what good Yung Neat could do with a trained medical staff!
