Arizona Woman Goes on Wild Chase To Find Her DoorDash Delivery During Valid Crash Out: ‘I Just Wanted Pizza’

She was just hungry

Food delivery apps like DoorDash have made purchasing pretty much any kind of meal, or even just a snack, very easy. Although for this Arizona woman, her experience using the app was a little less than satisfactory. She would then post a TikTok video to the account @Hopegomber describing how DoorDash had “Robbed” her. The video has over 700K views and 80K likes and has officially reached viral status as this woman tells the internet about her DoorDash adventure.

The TikTok starts off with the woman standing in what appears to be her home. She would then begin to explain that after her 12-hour shift in the medical field, she had finally come home. However, when it was time to decide what to do for dinner, DoorDash was seemingly a very valid option. The Arizona woman then states that she had enough time to take a full shower, among other things, before the food was even supposed to get there. She also adds that the restaurant that she ordered the food from was sending her “Live updates.”

TikTok Reacts To Arizona Woman’s DoorDash Thief

Yet, when the app would tell the woman her food was delivered, it was nowhere to be found. The woman then states that she was going to check the other units on the apartment building’s floor, just to make sure. However, the pizza she had ordered was simply gone. The TikTok comment section then chimed in with its own opinions. “Contact DoorDash, they will reimburse you,” wrote one. “Not all Dashers are like this,” said another. Finally, the woman in the video would jokingly say, “I just wanted some pizza.” Yet, the story wouldn’t end there.

Later in the TikTok, the Arizona woman says she was able to find the DoorDash employee’s contact information via the app. After contacting the driver, they claim that they must have delivered the food to the wrong apartment, although it is allegedly still in the building. The driver then shares the unit at which he supposedly dropped the pizza off at, as the woman tells TikTok. Unfortunately, though, the pizza would not be there either, but an important piece of evidence would be found.

The apartment the driver had dropped the food off at had a Ring doorbell camera outside of it. The footage from the camera then shows a man dropping the pizza off, taking a photo, and then just picking it back up and walking off. The DoorDash driver had legitimately stolen this Arizona woman’s pizza. The story then comes to a pretty sad ending, as the woman did not get to enjoy her pizza after her long workday. At the end of the day, TikTok users can only hope the DoorDash driver really needed that food.
