Imagine returning from visiting your family and finding that your apartment has been covered in wrapping paper. For an Arizona man, however, it was all very true, as he saw his doors, walls, and furniture all wrapped in Christmas paper, to his delight.

Footage of the “prank” was shared by TikTok user nataliagraceoltean (Natalia). She detailed that her neighbor left his apartment key with her family while he went home for Thanksgiving. What he didn’t expect was Natalia’s sisters to completely wrap the apartment in Holiday paper.

The clip shows the man’s door wrapped in white and red Christmas paper, as well as part of the walls, his kitchen cabinets, his couch, and many other items of his, including his shoes, as per Natalia. Other Holiday-themed decorations were put up in the man’s apartment as part of the so-called prank. Apparently, it took 10 hours to finish the apartment.

Many immediately reacted in shock at how beautiful the wrapping paper looked.

“Is your sister an elf? This is the best wrapping I’ve ever seen,” one user wrote. Another one said, “That’s some clean wrapping. I can’t even wrap a small gift this nice.” A third one added, “Oh, this is the perfect Christmas booktok plot. The Grinch neighbor and the Christmas magic neighbor.”

Others were left wondering whether the neighbor was going to appreciate or lose his marbles when he discovered his now-wrapped apartment.

The Neighbor Reacts

It didn’t take long before the reveal occurred, however, as TikTok user skintokwithsof (Sofia), Natalia’s sister, showed his reaction. To the relief of many, Liam, the Arizona neighbor, was very shocked, albeit impressed, with the work the sisters had put into making his apartment very Christmassy.

The grinning man couldn’t believe his own eyes, calling the whole scene insane. However, he didn’t mind and even told one of the sisters that he loved it, embracing her in the process. He added, “You guys crushed it!“

People loved the heartwarming exchange. One person said, “He accepted it like it was a gift.” A second one added, “Someone’s got a crush on the guy!!” A third one added, “New decorating goal unlocked!“

Liam will most likely never forget this harmless prank. He might even keep the decor for the rest of December. And he should.
