Donald Trump’s administration has made many people turn against him, including some of his loyal MAGA supporters. A farmer in Arkansas was spotted flying a Trump flag upside down to show his dislike for the president’s new tariff policies.
An unidentified person was driving past a farm in Arkansas when they spotted a “Trump 2024” flag flying upside down and at half-mast. The farm owner appeared to have backed the president during his 2024 campaign. However, he seems to have rescinded that support, as evidenced by the position of the flag. As explained in the commentary of the viral video, the farmer, a staunch Trump supporter, has been flying the flag for years.
“Funniest sh*t I ever saw. This guy, for years, has always flown those Trump flags, but now he turned the motherf*cker upside down because Trump is f*cking all the farmers,” the man behind the camera mocked. “Look at this sh*t. I hope he f*cks them all up.”
“Trump supporters are in distress with…Trump💀,” the clip’s caption read. Many social media users had hilarious reactions to the Reddit video. “Entering FO territory of FAFO,” one mocked, while another added, “MAGA 2024 really turned into FAFO 2025 🤣.”
Another user praised the farmer for his protest. “I personally don’t care about his feelings, BUT I am glad he chose to do this instead of just taking the flag down,” the comment read. “It shows he’s actually angry at the RIGHT PERSON for once.”
This Redditor believes the farmer deserves to face the consequences of his vote. “Boo-f*cking-hoo. Farmers got f*cked over when he did tariffs in the first term to a point they needed a bailout, and they STILL supported him en masse. Nah, bro f*cking endure your mistake.”
Another person lamented, “This is what happens when stupid people vote for a stupid idiot who has convinced himself that he is smart. Too bad the rest of us are forced to go along the ride.”
Much like the Arkansas man, most farmers countrywide have been worried about their business since the president announced his new policies. Trump’s tariffs affect China, which is one of the biggest export markets for farmers. They are among the biggest buyers of soybean, sorghum, corn, American beef, and chicken. The Associated Press reports that China spent $24.65 billion on U.S. agricultural products last year.
However, after China retaliated with its 34% tariffs, farmers have long-term concerns that their business partners may turn to countries with more favorable export rates. Since Trump announced his reciprocal tariffs, crop prices have dropped, and it looks bleak for farmers.
