A man who lives in an Arkansas town recently took to social media to share his thoughts on the picturesque city. In his video, the social media user told his followers that he feels like he lives in a Hallmark town, and shared plenty of clips to prove his point. The footage was filmed at 9 p.m. on a Thursday night, and the streets were still full of life that did appear to be from a movie scene.
In a viral TikTok video, the Arkansas native showcased several examples of why he believes his town is reminiscent of a Hallmark movie. He revealed things such as local businesses, including a five-and-dime store and a fun ice cream shop. He also showed several families doing activities together, including some on a nighttime glow bike ride through the streets.
“Just in case you’re wondering, we still live in a Hallmark movie,” he said in the video’s intro.
The man went on to show other scenes from the town, including people sitting around in the park, kids playing chess, people eating ice cream around a fountain, and some taking photos in front of a large building.

He also revealed that in addition to families, teenagers were seen hanging out, and senior citizens were spotted sitting on a bench, taking it all in. The event had people playing folk music as entertainment. It is what it is,” he ended the video.
“Hallmark or Gilmore Girls?” he asked in the caption of the post.
The video was taken from Bentonville, Arkansas, and many in the comments revealed their love for the town as well.
“Love Bentonville!! It’s amazing,” one person wrote.
“I need to move there so I can save the local bookshop from closing and save the annual Christmas parade while I meet my soulmate while walking around the corner too fast with hot chocolate in my hand,” another joked.
“Bentonville is a beautiful town,” a third person agreed.
However, not everyone was convinced that the town was straight out of a Hallmark film.
“Let me guess…red state?” a fourth comment read.
“There is one thing that is suspiciously missing in those scenes…” one person noticed.
“That is the whitest town I’ve ever seen,” another chimed in.
The video earned more than 1.1 million views and garnered nearly 3,000 comments. While the video appears to have divided TikTok, many still view the Arkansas town as a real-life movie set.
