Arrow is just a few short months away from entering its eighth and final season. It’s been a long journey for the CW series for the crew and cast, including former showrunner Marc Guggenheim. Now an Executive Consultant for Arrow and the criminally underrated Legends of Tomorrow, Guggenheim has spent a fair share of time over the last two weeks teasing what’s to come for the Arrowverse. This time, he sent out a tweet hinting at two new suits in the show’s final season:

Guggenheim would later confirm that the costume on the right isn’t for Oliver Queen:

So, who are these suits for? Well, Arrow season 7 set up a new Green Arrow to eventually take up the mantle in the future. Mia Smoak, Oliver and Felicity’s daughter, has been heavily featured in Arrow’s flashforwards and has all the tools needed to follow in her father’s vigilante footsteps. All she needs is a suit. Maybe this is it?

The suit on the left is more than likely a new version of the Black Canary suit, whether that be a new costume for Dinah, Laurel, or even Zoe Ramirez (Wild Dog’s daughter and vigilante in the flashforwards).

As mentioned above, Guggenheim has been teasing Arrowverse news for the past few weeks. Recently, Guggenheim was hyping up the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” event, stating that “Everyone is hard at work already” on the crossover and “Don’t be surprised if we announce something pretty cool at SDCC…”.

No matter if this new suit was a brief look at the future Green Arrow or someone else entirely, fans of the long-running CW series will be sad to see it go (or happy depending on your thoughts of the more recent seasons).

Arrow will return for one last season premiere October 15th, 2019.

Who do you think the new suits teased above are for? Are you excited for Arrow’s final season? Let us know in the comments below!
