In Atelier Resleriana, your team is comprised of four character archetypes: Attacker, Breaker, Defender, and Supporter. Balancing their abilities is the key to defeating any challenges that await you in Lantarna. As this gacha game features dozens of heroes and heroines across various Atelier titles, it can be tough to pick which one for your party. To help you out, we have listed the best tier list for all currently available Atelier Resleriana characters.
Best Characters in Atelier Resleriana Tier List
Before we begin, do note that our Atelier Resleriana tier list is divided into 4 tiers:
S+ tier characters have unconditional priority. The abilities of these characters allow them to show excellent results. They can easily synergize with other characters or carry any fights alone.
S-tier characters are extremely strong. However, they do have one or two shortcomings that make them barely able to compete with the S+ category.
A-tier units are quite decent, but they are simply outclassed by better characters. Their uses are mostly niche and excel in specific conditions only.
B-tier units can still be viable in battles. But they don’t add much to the team, or you need specific conditions when utilizing them.
Odelia [Antique Automaton], Rorona [Five Star Pie Meister], Vayne [The Power to Fulfill Wishes], Esty [Reliable Receptionist], Valeria [Secret Amnesia]
B
Cordelia [Aristocrat’s Daughter], Mu [Tropical Adventure], Viorate [Karotte Carrot]
Cordelia [Aristocrat’s Daughter]: Relies too much on Poison, while bosses and late-game enemies can be resistant to ailments. Not very good.
Esty [Reliable Receptionist]: She has high Speed stats but rather low damage output and relies too much on skill spamming. An okay unit to bring in a long fight.
Firis [Crystal Master]: A very strong Wind Attacker thanks to her Ether Cure and Corundum End skills, which delay the enemy’s turn at 50% HP. However, Firis’s biggest drawback is her slow Speed stat.
Resna [Seeker of Future Dreams]: The default free character you get at the start of the game. Thankfully, her kit is serviceable across the board.
Rorona [Five Star Pie Meister]: A pretty good Ice Attacker and given to everyone for free. Useless if you’re rerolling since you get her often, but it’s a good addition to your party, nonetheless.
Ruven [Hot-blooded Adventurer]: A pretty powerful Slash Attacker that also comes with a Synthesize bonus. Handy for getting meta equipment.
Ryza [One Summer Story]: It’s no big surprise that the most popular Atelier character ends up being the best Attacker in the game. She just deals a dumpster truckload of damage while her skills buff it up even further.
Logy [Dusk Alchemic Sword]: A Physical Attacker isn’t considered meta at the game’s current status. But his Dual Blast and Plasma Break skills deal more damage to broken enemies and have area-of-effect attacks.
Mu [Tropical Adventure]: As a Physical Attacker, she’s not needed at the moment since Magical Attackers are much more important for your team composition. Her skills aren’t very useful as well, as Mu’s combination of area-of-effect and single-target attacks just muddles her role.
Odelia [Antique Automaton]: A decent Lightning Magical Attacker with area-of-attack skills. Her Electric Field skill buffs damage against a Paralyzed target, but most late-game enemies can resist status ailment. Making her gimmick somewhat useless down the road.
Vayne [The Power to Fulfill Wishes]: He’s actually pretty strong, especially if you need Lightning Attacker. But his kit depends on Vayne being low on health, making his set-up kind of difficult to pull off.
Valeria [Secret Amnesia]: Outclassed by her [Seeker of Past Dreams] but can still be decent in some content.
Valeria [Seeker of Past Dreams]: Her critical rate and damage-boosting skills are second to none. An extremely convenient unit, taking into account that you get her for free.
Viorate [Karotte Carrot]: An okay-ish Ice Attacker that doesn’t stand out much.
Marion [R&D Team Lead], Plachta [Mysterious Doll], Shallistera [Chief’s Daughter]
A
Marie [Lovely Bomber], Keithgriff [Seeker of Truth], Lilie [Birth of the Legend]
B
Raze [Sword of Light], Escha [Endless Tart], Tao [Fledgling Scholar]
Corneria [No Milk No Life]: One of the fastest Breakers you can get in the game with powerful skill effects. She hits fast and hits hard, and she also comes with a gear-synthesizing bonus.
Escha [Endless Tart]: A decent Wind Breaker, but the element doesn’t have much use in lots of content. Synergize well with Logy, though.
Keithgriff [Seeker of Truth]: Breaker with Fire and Ice skills gimmick. Pretty hard to build, considering his mixed kit, but he is a decent character despite his low-Speed stat.
Lilie [Birth of the Legend]: An okay Lightning Breaker; unfortunately, her Paralysis-inducing Rhapsody of Earth doesn’t have much use in late-game.
Marie [Lovely Bomber]: A decent character but outclassed by Shallistera, which you get for free.
Marion [R&D Team Lead]: For a single-target 1-star character, she’s pretty good and fast. Easy to get, and Fast Shoot and Crossfire deal a good amount of damage as well as debuff.
Plachta [Mysterious Doll]: A pretty competent Physical Breaker that can apply Break buff and self-heal when Breaking a target.
Shallistera [Chief’s Daughter]: For a free character, she’s really good, thanks to her area-of-effect kit. She’s one of the few Breakers and early-game characters that can attack a group of enemies in one move.
Raze [Sword of Light]: A single-target Physical Breaker, he has a decent debuff skill. But for now, considering Magical is much more preferable than Physical, and he’s rather slow, his utility is pretty low.
Tao [Fledgling Scholar]: His party buff kit relies too much on enemies with status ailments. He can be very hard to use in late-game.

Sophie [Profuse Phronesis]
S
Linca [Assistant Team Lead]
A
Monika [Monika on Stage], Regina [Ruins Excavator]
B
Judie [Hero of Tempest], Lent [Hardened Warrior], Oskar [Plants are BFFs]
Judie [Hero of Tempest]: A strong unit that ends up being outshined by other Defenders, due to her Evasion-reliant skills and being too slow. Aside from that, for the most part, even using 1 or 2-star Defenders is enough to tackle most content.
Lent [Hardened Warrior]: His debuffs and buff durations are too short. You can use him if you don’t have many Physical Defender options.
Linca [Assistant Team Lead]: A pretty good Magic tanker since her skills give Magic Resistance to her team. Lots of enemies use magic attacks, so she has a lot of mileage.
Monika [Monika on Stage]: Her kit depends too much on Evasions, which could make things tough and doesn’t benefit her teammates much.
Regina [Ruins Excavator]: A decent unit, especially considering you get her for free.
Oskar [Plants are BFFs]: An okay Defender but simply overshadowed by other characters quickly.
Sophie [Hyakka Ryouran Phronesis]: An extremely strong Defender, as she can self-heal and deal huge amounts of debuffs when attacking enemies. A must-have unit when her banner rolls out.
Ayesha [Maria of Dusk]: A healer Supporter with a good amount of single-target healing, but a Supporter with party healing is much more useful.
Elie [Cheesecake Prodigy]: A very strong Supporter who gives Break and Magic buffs to her teammates.
Iksel [Fighting Chef]: For a Supporter, his utility is pretty bad. He can inflict Burn, but the status ailment is pretty weak in the game, especially at late game. Meanwhile, his single-target healing is relatively useless compared to party-wide heals.
Klaudia [One Summer Melody]: Can be considered the best Supporter if you’re dealing with Ice enemies, thanks to her Ice buffs.
Meruru [Powerful Princess]: A decent unit with bonus Paralysis Resistance. Her skills’s debuff can be short but has a big enough impact to help in battles.
Resna [Innocent Dreamer]: Her team-wide Comet Halation Critical buff is very useful for late-game scenarios. But you don’t need her in the early game since you can’t use the same character in a party. Considering her [Seeker of Future Dreams] Attacker version is given for free at the start of the game.
Plachta [Enchanting Vampire]: She has an interesting and fun kit but depends too much on RNG.
Tess [Rabbit Eared Troublemaker]: Her kit is just not too efficient; too hard to maintain for a meh amount of buff.
Totori [Yearning for Her Mother]: Not too bad but not too good either, an all-right healer. Can perform better during specific events, though.
